1. Dance Etc’s performing company is a separate group of students who are committed to presenting mini-shows for various community organizations and affairs. They attend extra classes as a part of their preparatory and rehearsal phase and offer dance productions for all occasions. Their services are available year-round and also extend to out of town competitions. They must be 9 years old and have 3 years of dance. Fundraisers are an essential part of this organization. Auditions are required to become a Footlighter.

2. Students MUST have appropriate dancewear. Proper dance attire helps build character and self esteem. It is essential to the integrity and discipline of being a dancer. Dance attire varies by class, so check out the classes page for specific information about your class.

3. Parents are invited to observe their child in class during the first lesson of November and February. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Please do not bring small children or babies in to observe a class. For the benefit of the students, parents will not be allowed to remain in the studio while a lesson is being conducted, as it tends to disturb the class.

4. The year's work culminates with a recital featuring the accomplishments of each class. This allows each student to experience performing: a very necessary part of their dance training. The recital will be held in June.

5. Costumes come ready made, and are ordered by the studio during Christmas break. A deposit of $50 per costume must be made with the October tuition, with any balance due no later than March 15th. Students whose parents have not made the deposit, will not have costumes order and will not be able to participate in the summer recital.

8. Tuition is billed and payable monthly. The rate stays the same per month, no matter what the number of classes happen to fall on your particular day. Due to holidays, there may be some classes that only meet 3 times during the month, while other months, because of the setup of the calendar, may meet 5 times. Either way, tuition stays the same.
